Blue A La Chaux
Bleau a la Chaux (PB29)
Is a pigment from Ocre de la France that has a warm blue tone similar to lavender. The color name actually means lime blue, and probably refers more to the tone of the color than to its use. It is not stable when left in calcareous solutions. It can be mixed well, but the solutions must be used on the day of production. The color has a slightly milky expression, as when ultramarine is mixed into lime.
Lightfastness
4 (on a scale where 1 is low, 8 is best.)
Color power

Binders

Areas of application
Primarily indoors in paints and for artist colors.
Safety
The pigment is described as non-toxic. However, it is always advisable to use a dust mask when working with pigments
