Quinacridone Violet

Quinacridone is a synthetically produced, organic and very lightfast pigment, which has been produced since the 1950s. Quinacridone PV19 is very similar to Quinacridone Magenta PV122, but PV19 is deeper with a more purple tone. Mixed with blue, for example cobalt, fantastic clear and intense purple colors are achieved.

Areas of application

Used especially for artist colors, but can be used both indoors and outdoors. Has good weather resistance.

The pigment is termed as non-toxic, but since the pigment is very fine-grained and colorful, it is recommended to use a dust mask and gloves.
