Siena nature is an iron-containing ocher variation. It is named after the land that surrounds the area around the city of Siena in Italy (Tuscany), and has a warm golden-brown hue with a rather light greenish undertone.

 

The pigment is light, water, - oil, - and calcareous.

Reasonable.

In lime and tempera reasonable, in oil slightly laser.

The pigment is described as non-toxic. However, it is always advisable to use a dust mask when working with pigments.
