Floor soap White
Floor soap White is suitable for finishing, maintenance and refreshing of lye, soap and oil treated wooden floors and other wooden surfaces where a white pigmented surface is desired.
Floor soap white is made from light and pure vegetable oils with added white pigment. The soap effectively saturates the wood's pores and protects against spilled liquids and dirt. Should not be used concentrated on painted and varnished woodwork, as the soap can dissolve the paint/varnish.
Pretreatment
The floor must be free of dirt and dust and newly laid floors must be sanded.
Basic treatment
The soap solution is applied with a floor cloth or mop in the lengthwise direction of the wood until the wood is saturated. After a few minutes, wipe off excess soap with a damp cloth (without soap). The treatment is repeated 2-3 times. The wood must be completely dry between treatments. Do not use too much water during the soap treatment – the wood can expand, and when it dries again, the wood will contract.
General Cleaning
Treated floors are easy to keep clean – vacuuming is sufficient for daily cleaning.
Dosage
Basic treatment: 0.3 liters of white floor soap to 5 liters of warm water.
General Cleaning: 0.1 liter of white floor soap to 5 liters of warm water.
Difficult spots
Soak the stain with water, rub concentrated soap into the stain and leave for approx. 5 minutes. Remove the stain with a coarse sponge and wipe the area with a cloth. To refresh the white pigment color on the treated area, a thin layer of concentrated soap can be applied
the area.
